Which dictionaries does WordSolve use?
We support multiple official dictionaries including TWL (Tournament Word List) used in North American Scrabble tournaments, SOWPODS (the international Scrabble dictionary), and the Collins Scrabble Words list. Our Words With Friends solver uses the game's specific dictionary.
Can I use WordSolve during competitive play?
WordSolve is designed as a learning and practice tool. Most competitive word game tournaments prohibit the use of electronic aids during play. We encourage you to use WordSolve for practice, study, and casual games, and to always follow the rules of any competition you enter.
How accurate are the Scrabble scores?
Our Scrabble scores are calculated using the official tile point values for standard Scrabble. However, actual game scores will vary based on board position, premium squares (double/triple letter and word scores), and other game-specific factors.
